Kaylyn Young is a law clerk at FJ Law where she assists with all aspects of the firm’s day-to-day matters including performing legal research, contacting clients, and assisting attorneys with developing case strategies.
She graduated from Brooklyn Law School with a Juris Doctor in 2026 where her course load focused on pre-trial litigation advocacy, trial advocacy, and mediation strategies. While at Brooklyn Law, she participated in the Brooklyn Law School Mediation Clinic where she conducted supervised mediations in small claims court, allowing her to develop a strong understanding of mediation strategies.
Prior to attending Brooklyn Law, she attended Iona University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her cats, figure skating, and reading.
